Motogp Rnd 4 Le Mans

  1. Marc Marquez: "The speed is there but we're taking risks’.

    No sh1t.

  2. MM also denied following Pecco and said he was trying to pass him, but when Pecco slowed to let him passed, MM also slowed to wait for him. I'm afraid I've no time for MM, he was a great competitor when he started, but not anymore.

  3. I’d also like to see Jack do well. The KTM’s were really on it for the whole weekend in Jerez. They look like the most improved team, Binder is good though. If they’re both on it, Binder will pass Jack. Personally I think on the right bike Binder is World Champion material. Not sure that the KTM is quite up to it yet though but they’re getting there.

  4. Fabio's woes continue, no Q2 in his home race. I'll be surprised if he stays with Yamaha next season, unless they final produce a V4 M1. IMHO

  6. Did someone pass on my last comments to MM93? He certainly surprised me there in Q2, I just hope he doesn't cause carnage in the Sprint race this afternoon. Another master class ride by Pecco and Luca Marini too, but if Jack Miller makes his usual lightning fast starts he'll definitely be in with a podium chance.

  7. Ridiculous how quickly 93 gets up to speed and what he can drag out of thee Onda.
Can’t deny he’s an unbelievable talent. Shame he’s spoilt that reputation somewhat over the last few years (at least).

  8. I think we'll only really see his true talent if he moves to another manufacturer. Those riders how can adapt and be competitive on different machines, such as Rossi, Capirossi & Miller have displayed just how talented they are or were. It would definitely be interesting to see Marquez try it.

  9. The Honda’s the weak link regarding MM. Honda lean on his talent to bridge the shortfall with the bike. Plus I think Honda pay him shit tons of wedge which must flash through his mind as he cartwheels through the gravel. Again

  10. I don’t rate miller tbh too many mistakes.
Won’t ever win the title imo, Binder more race savvy and consistent (still an amazing rider obviously).
I do think 93 would piss this current championship on any other bike than his own and probably the Yamaha.

  11. I have to disagree on a few points, Miller is definitely one of the most talented riders on the grid, the way he can develop a bike to get the most out of it, has to be respected, I agree I doubt he will win the MotoGP championship, but he'll definitely win races on the KTM, putting him in the company of only a handful of riders to win with 3 different manufacturers. I also agree that Binder is certainly more race savvy, but he has definitely benefitted from the recent developments Jack Miller has brought to the table, just as Pecco did studying Jacks data. Look at the last two seasons, Binder was not riding any where near as good as he is now. Regarding Marquez on a more competitive bike, again I disagree, he's certainly a fast and extremely talented rider, but he has always tucked in behind better riders to boost his grid position. He did it with Rossi, with Lorenzo, with Dovi and now it's Pecco, Jack Miller and today it was Martin. IMO, he's too reckless and that won't change, and because there are just too many talented and faster riders in MotoGP now, he wouldn't have the consistency to win another championship, even on a Ducati.

  12. I don't think he'll change now, but , if he was on the ducati, they wouldn't see which way he went ,my opinion, and you can't change that. If everything was equal, the only rider who would have trouble d him was casey.

  13. Free parking and free camping at Le Mans and the biggest crowd ever at a Motogp event.
    Are you watching Silverstone?

  15. What a dramatic MotoGP race, it just to show that you can't call this championship, the favourites crashing out and the others taking advantage, what a great race. :D

  16. I still genuinely believe that Marquez is as a rider in a different league to the others. The bike he’s on is crap though.

(I’m not a marquez fan generally either). But no real denying he’s the best of his generation by a fair margin. Guy does things on bikes that blow the mind.

  17. I can't deny he is one of the most talented riders, but I don't think he's the best, as I said his real talent would show if he had the balls to change manufacturer. After all Honda have designed the RCV's around him for years, specifically to suit his riding style and that makes it a lot easier for him, just as Ducati did with Casey Stoner, and every other rider struggled to adapt. If Marquez hadn't have suffered those injuries and Honda had continued developing that bike around him, he would undoubtably won another championship and I believe Honda will do that again and offer him even more cash and another long contract, so I don't think he'll ever leave Honda. There are lots of equally talented riders on the grid who haven't had that personal attention and development that he has been privileged to have through his whole MotoGP career and that's why I don't think he's the best.

  18. Not sure ducati developed the bike around casey, didn't he win the championship in his first year

  19. Best weekend of the season so far unless your names lowes or marquez.

Epic races across all three classes and I include the main race in that even though bez cleared off.
Hats off to 93 for that effort too. You could see the joy in martins celebration at the end there, knowing he’d come out on top against the very best.
Would have loved to have been there, the atmosphere looked and sounded epic.

  20. What’s happened to Scott Ogden? Gone right off the boil since a very promising start in m3. Probably doesn’t help having such a young and in experienced team mate in Whatley when he’s only learning the class himself but still would have expected him to kick on a bit more this year.
