  1. The fisty/girly slaps between pecco and mav were funny too.

  2. Hellish.
    o_O
Plenty would expect MM to crash, but that was an all round crash fest.
Where to look, who to watch??
    What a mega 1000th moto.gp

  3. Were you there mate?

  4. 90% of the time is enough to look at what other riders are achieving with the same bike.....
I bet none of the GP racers would be able to constantly finish in top 5 with that bike, he nearly finished on the podium after 7 months away. :astonished:
Not my favourite rider by quite a margin, but when fit, he is fcking quick on the worst bike of the grid.

  5. Watched from home this year. Was there last year. The atmosphere must have been electric…last year was great.

  6. Dixon rode well , he doesnt have enough self belief for me.

  7. What crash a lot? He's done as far as future championships go, and no other team wants the spent force. He won't get another factory ride.

  8. Ducati’s too fast for the Honda. You can physically see the speed delta real time. MM is on the ragged edge from lights out. It’s purely his higher ability that hangs him in there for so long…

  11. There was only one rider on the grid that people seemed to be cautious of when going in to corners. I wonder why?

Did anyone notice in the sprint race, PB trying not to be close to MM in the corners…or pretty much blanking MM just after qualifying when pulled over after the last qualifying lap?
Whilst he has been a huge talent, Marquez has failed to mature. Still riding like a twenty year old. 2 crashes in qualifying, crashed out in the race due to trying to turn back in behind Bez when the Honda was already out of shape. Luckily he just took himself out. The wild riding looks to be wearing a bit thin with the other riders too.

  12. SPOILER ALERT PLEASE.!!!!

Rerunning the races this morning for just me.:D

  13. You cannot deny the huge talent of Marquez, every time he swings a leg over the RCV he does thing that literally no one else can do. I'm no fan by any means, but there's no denying his talent and speed. Unfortunately that has come at a huge price in costing him 3 potential world titles and likely a 4th this year, and every year he's getting a little older and his body his taking longer to recover from the inevitable risks and injuries he's willing to endure to try and be the champion of old.

He'll never win another championship now, the grid is way too strong and the bikes are far better than his Honda, which leads to the question of jumping ship. I read a few weeks ago it was a no from all manufacturers to want Marc in their teams, Ducati said he's too expensive and they have enough riders coming through the teams, Yamaha again no money, Aprilia the same and happy with their riders, KTM stating if he won it would be him and if he lost it would be the bike. So he's stuck at Honda or willing to take a huge £££ cut to try and convince another manufacturer to give him a ride for maybe a season or two until he's done.

Miller, what could have been.... Jack has always been fast and clearly a great talent, but I just don't think he's race savvy, he always seems to cook his tyres, I just don't think he knows how to lead and control a race, pity it would have been great to see him on the top step with KTM. Binder did well from where he started, helped obviously by numerous fallers, he's got the chance to win races and challenge for a championship if he can qualify on the first two rows for sure.

Fabio may as well sit this year out, he's just making up the numbers poor bloke. Such a talent but hampered by a poor bike, how the Japanese have fallen. Yamaha need a V4 but Fabio won't risk years going by waiting a developing something when he could be winning championships. I just don't see how this is going to end well for everyone, I can see Fabio on a Gresini Ducati next to Alex Marquez.

Pecco/Vinales, silly mistake by both and lucky neither of them were injured, just a racing incident that could have cost Pecco dearly over the year. Vinales was flying up until that point he could have won that with the way he was carving through the field.

Bezzechi, absolute class ride again from him, get him on a factory bike... and there lies an issue, VR46 need to get him a factory bike, but Ducati want to reduce teams.... VR46 rumoured to move to Yamaha will kill that teams progress and possibly sponsorship and will no doubt force Bezzechi to look for another ride, he's championship material.

Let's not forget Fernandez's ride also, first KTM over the line. Something clicked this weekend for Agusto and he showed why he is the current Moto2 champion, it'll be interesting to see how he progresses this season.

3 week break now, then the big one for me, Mugello such a special place but prices through the roof could see empty stands, unlike Le Mans, what a great spectacle to see so many fans again.

  14. Rubbish. KTM, Aprilia and Yamaha would take him tomorrow if they could and Honda wont want to lose him.

  15. You could tell Jorge M didnt want to get involved in any shenanigans/hard moves in the main race when he came up behind him too. Certainly showed him a lot more respect (shall we say) than any other rider he'd passed up to that point.

  16. There is racing, there is bumping fairings, but all of the grid know he is a loose cannon.

  17. Guess you didn't read my comment, Speedweek published an article after discussing with each manufacturer, a resounding no from all of them.

  18. Not many teams could afford the repairs never mind the wages. MM crashed 3 times this weekend. They must have a warehouse full of spare parts for all of the required rebuilds.

  19. Some serious Marquez haters on here! For me he’s the most talented rider out there without exception! I personally don’t see anything wrong with his riding,a bit aggressive at times but no worse than Binder and a few others and it ain’t club racing! I also think he’s a nice lad and with the Kalex chassis I think it could be a turning point for Honda! Moto GP would be boring without MM and I for one am a huge admirer!

  20. Worrying though isn't it that the Honda riders are all still having front end crashes, I thought that was the issue with the Honda chassis, lack of feel at the limit. Either way I hope they improve the bike, to keep the competition alive.

The Yamaha though, oh my, how the mighty have fallen. They surely need to get on and build a V4? I know it will take them 3-5 years an all that but they aren't going to get anywhere with the IL4 it's done looking at the overwhelming evidence. They can't even say it's their sportsbike heritage now that they basically don't sell any R1's other than the odd few and the engine format is only really used in the MT10.
