I know that look. And just to make sure, Iggy usually also backs it up by tapping me on the arm and gesturing towards whatever it is he wants with his eyes.
Speaking of treats…. Anyone able to work out which is the treats cupboard ?? Daft dog will stand there for 10min solid with her nose pressed against it
Girlfriend's new adoption, a Lurcher (Saluki, Greyhound, Whippet mix). Lovely dog but suffers separation anxiety when alone. Far better when in the company of my lab.
Thanks; "all the gear, something of an idea" seeing as at one time I earned my living as a photographer.
I do note the emoticon... but they're supposed to look something like that; they're just bone, muscle and sinew, built for speed. Believe it or not she was thinner when we collected her 5 weeks ago and we both agreed that she does need to put a little more weight on. However, now that she's getting a decent amount of exercise she's putting on muscle rather than fat. She eats as much, if not more, than my lab and he's a complete porker... Funny that I didn't really think that before Ella arrived (Ella is the Lurcher, not my GF BTW... ).
I mentioned to a vet that I thought our Great Dane was a bit thin, Apparently he’s about right, the others I’ve seen must all be fatties.
Mine this week!… I wish I could get him to walk nicely on a lead though, my god he’s hard work! 15 months old and I’ve tried pretty much everything
Iggy’s like that too. He eats 3 meals per day, plus various treats such as a couple of dried chicken breasts, bits of biscuits, dentistix and whatever he can cadge from his humans at mealtimes, but he never puts on any fat. Then again, I’m sure he’s part sight hound, possibly Saluki, so that would explain it. I can often see it in him, but it’s even more apparent in his sister. They both also have that deep chest/narrow waist physique and the short and very soft silky coat that Salukis are known for. I might get one of those doggy DNA tests for him. Iggy’s sister. A Saluki.
People with experience of YuMove for their dogs - i only got sent half the tablets they sent me for the first month this month (2 a day instead of 4). When i phoned up they said the dose was supposed to halve after the initial month - however i couldnt find anything relating to this on their site, Am i being overly suspicious of a rogue telesales person or can someone confirm the good folk at Yumpve are quiote correct.
They didn't do that with the YuMove+ tablets I got from them for my now departed Golden Retriever. It was the same supply from day one. Might be different on a case by case basis?
