Washed the bike in readiness for going to Hawes tomorrow to meet up with friends. Ordered a new registration plate for the multi, registered it with the DVLA and put it on the bike. I then rang the insurance company at 2.57pm to advise them of the change only for the bastards to disconnect me at 3pm cos their office closed then. So I’m now in limbo until Monday before I can change my policy and go out on the bike. Bugger!
Was going to take the PP for a ride, but I’m still not 100% so thought if I’m going to fall off a bike, I’d rather it be the cheap one! Cracking day though.
Set the valve clearances, and refitted the engine to the CB250N Superdream, and had it running today, Exxon Valdez type oil leaks cured, just need to fettle the exhaust joints to stop the leaks
Yes I have, but they can’t verify it until Monday. However I’ve since found out that although the DVLA says they have processed my new reg number it hasn’t been updated their files yet. So the original plate is back on, bike is still insured as that so job jobbed and I’m out tomorrow morning again!
None as I spent 3 hours dismantling the front of my pissing Alfa 159 as the bonnet cable wasn’t unlatching the lock. Absolute bastard job. Cut my hands up a treat getting in through the grille to unbolt the latch. All I wanted to do was refill the washer reservoir!
Went over my mates house to help him get the fairing back on his RSV1000, which doubled up as a test ride post oil and plug change on my z1000
Added some carbon loveliness which lightened my wallet more than the bike, but who doesn’t like a bit of bling?
Went shooting this morning, then upon returning home, got the Superdream out, tried to seal one of the exhaust leaks, then cleaned the chain, chain guard, and wheels
