Risers For M900 With Fatbars

Discussion in 'Monster' started by Nottsbiker, May 22, 2023.

  1. Hi All,

Not had much luck sourcing some yet and have asked across several different sites...

Can anyone recommend a set of fatbar converters or complete risers that will fit to the yoke on my 900? I have trial fitted several sets of MX type converters that do not sit in the bar cut-out properly despite fitting perfectly in both of my Yamaha trail bikes as the Ducati appears to be shallower. I have a set of converters that allow you to unbolt the half-moon section on the bottom and these fit perfectly but then have a semi-circular hole when viewed from the side and more generally concern me that they may not be as secure without this part.

I'm using 916 forks on my 900 and have had the original yoke bored to suit so I'd like to use that if possible.

    Thoughts / suggestions etc?

    Many thanks - Ben

  2. Much easier to use the top yoke off an S2R/S4R, ready made for fat bars and easier to find risers if you need them

  3. Does the S2R yoke take the smaller steerer tube from the mk1 Monster? I'd assume that it does not but I may be wrong

I think I need to find someone to make me some risers that bolt to the stock yoke but take 28mm bars
