Hi anyone fitted a termi underseat exhaust system to their 1299s Prices seem reasonable now and I fancy ditching the ugly heavy standard system
I used an Upmap, I know it may not be the best but I can switch between 2 maps, baffles in or out, need baffles in to get on a trackway. I've also made a conversion for the pillion pegs for the odd time my wife is feeling brave. You need a specific tail tidy as well, as the number plate need to sit a bit lower
Not sure, but I think you can find them for around £2500, but you need tail tidy and change the lower fairings as there is no exhaust there anymore
Remap standard ecu at Dave Wood Racing in February this year. Have done 2 track days so far and no issues. Give them call.
Hi Andrew where did you buy the tail tidy please Exhausts fitted sounds good but what a pia job Not much room on a 1299 !
Wow that looks amazing. The one thing that always put me off with the more modern bikes is the gap above the rear wheel. I still think the 1098 had the best visually pleasing balance. Please can you PM me what you are looking for, for your gorgeous exhaust. Thanks
Sorry for the late reply, been at Cadwell today. I bought it from The Performance Motorcycle shop, from their on line shop
I run the Termi D170 underseat system, i had it fitted to both my 1299 and also the 1199, the 1199 made 187hp on the back wheel without mapping changes, so a good performance upgrade. I also have a set of longer cans from SPF to keep the noise down if needed.. a second hand set of fairing lowers from the 959 sorts out the gap left by the missing end cans edit- the only issue I have is that the right hand can blocks the key lock for the rear seat.. there was supposed to be a kit released my Termignoni but it never materialised to the best of my knowledge
I discounted the lock part and just run a cable tie that pokes out under the seat so it can be pulled, don't make it too it can melt on the exhaust
