Well who saw that then,?, Cav on stage 5, slides over for a 5th position, he's headlines wherever he goes in life. A shity day weatherwise but the same for everybody on two wheels.
Yeh it was grim weather wise although slightly more interesting. Remco off twice in a day first crash caused by a stray dog, hows your luck!
Still setting records at 37 years of age, lol, as for the two on the breakaway after all that effort what a ridiculous way of finishing the race, they should've pushed on for the victory regardless who came in first or second......silly lads in my opinion as you don't get many opportunties in life like that..
Been absolutely spoilt this weekend if you follow the Brit boys. Ben Healy yesterday and G today. I actually got goose bumps when the comms said Healys life was about to change when he crossed the line yesterday. Incredible stuff. G smashing the TT today as well.
Let's hope they pick him for the Tour with those mountain & alpine climbs, as for the time trail that was very frustating for both the team mates being pipped at the post by the smallest of margins.
Think its safe to say it "came alive" today. Amazing spectacle, cant believe ive got into this sport so late in life
I very much like the guy as he's an ex-rider which always helps matters when discussing two wheels, but i'm not sure about a cuddles on the sofa with him.,
Hes great and bought decent "banter" on the back of the bike this week. I think it was the first stage in the whole tour today where it didnt rain at some point (might be wrong on that one but its felt like it). I still think Roglic will win but you cant deny Thomas has put up an unreal fight whatever happens now. 20% gradients today too with more to come, i probably couldnt even get a bike in motion up them.
