Not a clue! I've found dealers across the brands to be really poor to be fair, so just sitting back and waiting, although should be next week, or will cancel and be bikeless...
Does anyone have a tip on how to remove 916 injectors. The retaining plate has been removed, its been unplugged but its a right tight thing. I don't particularly wish to damage the thing. As part of the fuel pump pipes failure and the slime and stuff that left in and around my tank and all the bits in there. I want to clean my injectors. If i can get them off first.
Too tall and a wait for parts with no clue when you'd get them. Considering I ride 90% on roads, it would have been a vanity purchase.
Mrs is out for the evening, so I’ve managed to break two Denby bowls (which you can’t get any more) onto our quartz worktop, which has left several chips and scratches. I’m livid. She’s gonna be pissed when she gets home.
Very annoying for you to have broken something by your own fair hand Duccie. However M75 has broken his wife’s prized irreplaceable Denby bowls and chipped a worktop, whilst being entrusted to look after the house whilst she gets tanked up on G&T’s.
All is not lost. I’ve found some bowls on Gumtree, so have put an offer in. And found a company that repairs Quartz, so have filled in an online form. But yeah, she’s gonna be pissed!
Dinner out with friends tonight. I know I’m going to pay for it in the morning but had Naga chilli spiced lamb chops from the tandoor with a Laziz sauce for some gravy. Right at the top of my heat tolerance but absolutely delicious. Andy
Went out for a planned 60-70 mile ride today. it started pissing rain, so I abandoned mission and returned to base, having covered only 30 miles
I never ever get wet on motorcycles, only a few spits of rain hit me on the odd occasion when returning home from a ride. I guess i just don't like cleaning motorcycles behind the fairings etc anymore. With unpredictable weather these days anyone can get caught out. I must confess that i'd try & run through heavy rain looking for sunshine the otherside two or three years ago on the 916, i didn't find that good weather and what a mess the bike was in.
You must be extremely lucky then, as I’ve been out with a 0% chance of rain according to the BBC weather app before, and still got completely soaked!
