Thought I'd start a thread for any gossip, updates, results, times and general chat about the TT. Practice starts next Monday (the 29th) afternoon but the tv programmes on itv4 are already up and running with the series called "no room for error" running nightly at 9 pm. It's a good watch, caught up with it this morning.
yep they are a good watch, am off there next week for 8 days camping. Taking all luggage on my panigale v2
Leaving next thursday night for the 3am crossing.... 1. Bike serviced, plugs, oil, airfilter clean. 2. Number plate concealed up underneath the rear tray. 3. New set of supercorsa's in the garage ready to be fitted. 4. MH racing tomorrow afternoon for a suspension setup. 5. Gave in to the Kreiga gods and bought some more kit for the trip. Cant take the RSV as the valve check just before taking it revealed more stuff that needs to be done so at the moment....going on the zed.
Have a great time everyone and please come home safe and sound. And watch out for those pesky gixer wally's (and matching hoodies over leathers) on the mountain
We arrive Next Friday evening, not ridden the SPS this year, hoping to blow the cobwebs off this weekend. Please give the lady on the white 72 plate SV650 a bit of room when passing, she caught the biking bug at her first TT last year and passed her test in January.
I’m riding my Hypermotard up from Devon and catching the overnight crossing early Friday, hopefully in time for last practice day. There all race week. Let’s hope the weather holds up!
I'm 50 50 on taking my hyper....for...Italian night...always good...mental on the Twisties...useless on the mountain, uncomfortable but does set off car alarms when you start it up...
I'm on my hyper too. I'll be at the italian bike in port erin too. Thin attendance last year though, hopefully more will show this year. You're quite right about the hyper over the mountain, not the thing for the mountain but excels everywhere else. Fwiw... I'm over on the last practice day, Friday morning from heysham, should land early Friday afternoon in time to catch the back end of the last practice session (straight up to the top of bray hill for a first watch). Then off down to port st mary to unload and settle into the digs. Home the Sunday after the senior. Have a great, safe TT all and I'll see you on the island!
Damn you lot....... As #Jealous !!!!! Couldn't make the TT this year,as off on a road trip in June... BUT all booked and paid for next year though AND only 373 days and counting !!
Off as a last minute foot passenger on the 8/6 for a few days, I'll hopefully catch the senior if nothing else.
next week for 8 days camping. Taking all luggage on my panigale v2 id be very interested to see your setup, luggage etc
Not sure, info seems scarce. It's usually the Tuesday evening of race week but that's a race day i think this year so I'd have thought it's moved days.
