Not a lot today just a trip to the church visting a friends sisters grave that died way too young, and then onto a friend for a short natter.
Yesterday SWMBO and I went an a boat trip from South Queensferry to Inchcolm Island. Beautiful day but hazy. There’s an old abbey, the remains of gun placements from WWII and gulls. The gulls are nesting at the mo and would attack you if you got too close to their nests. Forth Bridge is now a UNESCO world heritage site. A bit of scale. Imagine designing that. Inchcolm - not a lot of it. The abbey from the North. Inside the abbey. Boat coming in. Lesser Black-backed Gulls (I think) Herring Gulls (possibly) Abbey from the South. Oxcars Lighthouse with the port of Leith in the distance. The three bridges and some random woman who photo-bombed me. I’ve tried deleting the last three duplicate pics but they keep coming back.
I have been enjoying these fine days even if the wind is a bit chilly Cultivating my planters, purchased a few solar lights in Argos sale
279.4 miles in glorious sunshine and 23 degrees. Rode the Antrim Coast road early this morning, it was completely free of traffic making it my ride just perfect.
Ended up cleaning the car, after a bird decided to empty its innards all over it. The fucker must live on acid, as it had etched onto the bonnet. Luckily I’ve had it PPF’d, so with a bit of heat after the wash, the marks have completely gone. Couldn’t be arsed to cook after that, so had this for dinner…..
Another 90 miles today, starting to feel like my bike now! Hopefully the parts for my Ducati will arrive tomorrow and I can get that put back together!
