unggghh... That is stunning.

 

Roland sands has the amazing ability to take a fabulous bike and turn it into a pile of shit. Now the above looks ok, but had it been a stock 1299 then fine. But it was an SL. He has made it looks shitter than it was. Some achievement.

It could be argued that such a limited edition, garage queen, vanity project investment such as the SL is exactly the sort of machine for such a makeover...

 

You make a fair argument there Andy as its unlikely a normal enthusiast will own one. Wealthy enthusiasts will still be able to find one.

 

Although if I could afford one would I think the same.... hmmm? yeah I think I would and I'd also pay to get the makeover done...
