Evening All - when I first got my V4S, I thought that the engine was a bit buzzy at certain revs. A change to PP bars sorted most of it (probably the way the original bars were fitted) but to iron out the last of them I asked an engineer pal to make some larger end weights out of stainless. He's done a great job in terms of design (including cut outs for the hand guards) - they're about 30% larger and heavier. (See pix below) All I can say is that they work for me. I've spoken to him recently and, if anyone is interested, he can get a local firm to use their CNC facilities to reproduce some sets. I've no idea yet how much it would cost - I suppose it'll be down to how many sets we ask them to make! The pix show the weights fitted to PP bars, so they should fit the Pikes Peak as well as the V4/S. The photos with a green background were taken before the cuts were cleaned up and the weights polished. I've not had mine anodised but its something I'm happy to look into. Just drop me a message and I'll be in contact if we have enough people to make it a viable option. No worries if this is not something that anyone is interested in. Like I say, they worked for me: I'm not trying to make anything from this, just helping out if I can.
Great job , also you could try filling the bars with fine lead shot as for me over the years has always been a good solution to stop vibes , may be an addition if you still feel the vibe.
Thanks, and a great idea. I’m fortunate enough to live near to a skilled guy who loves a machining challenge, so that’s why I’ve ended up with the new weights. Otherwise I may have gone down the shot loaded bars route!

I’ve got the Evotech handguard protectors on mine, which come with heavier bar end weights. Strangely, they don’t sell them on their own, but I can confirm that they do make quite a difference, so yours look spot on (once they’re anodised!).
My understanding from when I temporarily envisaged Sato rear sets on my KTM was that they’re a direct purchase from Japan, at least that was the only place I found them available to purchase. From my borked memory I had to pay in US Dollars or they were priced in that currency.
I’ve never had any vibes on the MV4 but would say they are probably the same weight from memory… possibly marginally, they do look better - which is the reason I bought them tbh.
I took the hand guards off then you have many options with any bar ends, the ones from a SFV4 are a decent weight, look good too.. but tbh never really noticed any difference so put back as standard..

Sadly not. There was a minimum order quantity and we fell short of the number of people interested to make it a viable proposition (thanks again to everyone who responded at the time).

I've done away with the handguards and fitted Rizoma bar ends. I used the original inserts though as they are significantly heaver than the ones supplied. No vibes.
