Government appoint investigator into handling of Covid pandemic. Investigator asks for full disclosure of Ministerial actions. Government refuses to disclose all relevant information. Government sets up for Judicial review/ legal challenge to prevent the full disclosure which is apparently what they requested the investigator to review! Meanwhile the information the investigator requested, has been offered by the person concerned. Doubtless all this wrangling will cost the taxpayers a fortune, put the Covid investigation on hold and damages the public trust that the full facts are being made public. Now why does Rishi want the information to remain secret? As Chancellor, he will feature strongly so what is he hiding?

That's why I very very rarely download apps, especially from stores/suppliers etc on the (their) basis it makes your life easier... yeah right Etsy anyone? and will only use android phones because at least if i do it'll ask me to give permission for them to use the phones features. I read only today about a guy who lost 10s of thousands when his Tide (banking) app was compromised probably by software downloaded to his phone via a malicious advert/link that then allowed the scammer to see his screen and therefore all his Tide transactions & account details and convince the guy he was from the bank. I was and remain anti death penalty. IIRC the scumbag had his minimum term reduced, but not the maximum term? Forcing convicted people to attend court for sentencing isn't practical. They are very likely to say awful things to the families of their victims, be physically violent and hostile to staff and unlikely to show any remorse. Rishi said he would add 2 years to the fellons sentences if they refused to appear, but in reality what would that mean to someone facing 38 years?
