Just watched Old, on Netflix. Bit odd, but was ok I guess.

 

A town called Malice. quite good , very typical Nick Love cockney story.

 

Watching Vicki McClure and her Grandad in Grandad’s War was very moving.They visited Normandy beach where her modest Grandad recalled his experiences on Sword Beach on the 6th June 1944.In fact 79 years ago today.When they were looking at the memorial to all the young men who died at this time it was hard to keep a dry eye.

 

Anyone watched the night agent.

 

Thought it was alright.

Worth the first couple of episodes to see if it's your thing.

Don’t know if I should admit it, but we watched 26 walks last night. Was quite good, apart from the shagging scene.

 

Wicked Tuna. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with it because i dont eat tuna and i hate the bit where they finally spear the beautiful looking creature but I do have huge respect for the people doing it for a living and their seeming importance on sustainability.

Watched the one where Hot Tuna's skippers dog died today though. It fucking barked at killer whales ffs

Had me in bits but still a 9-9.5/10 watch (the show in general that is).

I watched the new Ed Stafford show on Glasgow last night and the social issues inflicted on it by the torys .
Seen people describing it as poverty porn this morning and im like wtf youve missed the point completely.

No you fucking twats hes trying to remind you these people are EXACTLY like me and you and are 99.9% decent fucking people who just need HELP from the same people as you do, not pity. And hes not posh he was adopted and went to school/uni in Newcastle.

I like Ed, his survival programs are way better and more real than Bear Grylls.

 

Ive only watched one or two but he definitely seems to be erm, less safety conscious than BG!
