I felt like that today as the 996 wouldn't start up, so i'd to swap bikes at the last minute and then my back isn't really better at the minute.
I was out for just under two hours, not the perfect ride today but the adrenaline pill was working ish, but i now know why i love these bikes.

my guess is the guy selling it is an ex dinghy racer.
I have seen it done on racing dinghies. Confuses the fuck out of you when you are tacking up a beat, and depending upon which tack you are on you are crossing a different coloured boat, even though it's the same guy you are racing against.
Not sure why you'd do it on a bike though
