Another 27 on the Lizard today, but my fat finger’s finished the ride at St Keverne, hence two “rides”
Really windy today, first ride abandoned after 4.1 miles, just too bloody cold. After lunch I set off on the second attempt, rode to Portleven for coffee and chocolate brownie. a couple of really tough (for me) hills, plus a walk over a beach and crossed over a couple fairways at Mullion GC.
Cycled there today, but have holidayed here and around for many years. Camped on both sides and the end of the Lizard. edit: Which Church Cove, the RNLI lifeboat or the one nr Gunwalloe ? We walked to the near the RNLI one in 2021, very steep, would like to go back but the dogs pull too much and it end in tears.
No peddles this week. This week's bike has an engine, over at the TT all week. I'll be back at it next week.
We were busy yesterday so less opportunity to ride, but managed a cheeky 11 miles to keep my hand in and see Fraggle Rock lighthouse, aka Antonys Head
So much for rest day, ended up doing 55 miles, then about 10 miles from home the heavens opened. There were thunder bolts and lightning
St Mawes this afternoon. Rides in this part of Cornwall appear to require 100 ft climb for mile of riding.
