Korean spiced pork belly and a very odd sausage that looked like a hot dig but cooked like a proper sausage and was very tasty. Andy
Brie, ham, romaine hearts, tomato's, mushrooms, celery & cucumber - with vinaigrette and blue cheese dressing.
Snap, but I’ve bought an M&S stonebaked pizza, eaten all the topping before I cooked it, and added my own pepperoni
My stepdaughter made prawn linguine, which we had with crusty bread and white wine in the back garden. It was lovely.
Slightly off topic but still remaining with the overall theme of food. I’m looking at buying a gas fired BBQ I’ve always been a fan of the charcoal, but recently I was in charge of a gas fired BBQ and I have to say I was mightily impressed Any recommendations from our group of BBQ cooks out there? (Viv please move this posting if it’s deemed inappropriate for this thread) X
No, one of the negatives with using gas is the lack of charcoal flavour. It’s good for speed on initial light up and maintaining ideal cooking temperature throughout. To be honest with the use of marinades and dipping sauces the charcoal flavour can get lost, unless I’d course it is steak you’re cooking
If you are a Costco member or know someone who is, they are always good for a display of how ridiculous American influenced gas bbqs can get. Being a life long charcoal user, I have tried (someone else's) gas bbq a couple of times but it’s not for me. Andy
i've got a squashed up half sandwich of cheese and lettuce and mayonnaise and another half sandwich of butter marmite and cucumber. These are both on lovely wholemeal bread. PS, you don't want a picture of these do you?
