So I decided that it was time to get back into bikes. I'm starting with the bike of my youth. 1982 Ducati 600SL Pantah, I both my first one in Australia in the early 90s. Already becoming a classic, I fell in love with it's good looks, handling, foibles and sound! I found this one at an auction and couldn't resist. Clicked the button and Wham! there's my old Duke. now 41 years old it is in a similar shape to me, but at least road tax and insurance are better! After some light recommissioning, my first ride was up to Ribble Head.If you've never ridden in the Dales - just do it. Best before 09:00 and after 17:00, find a hill to climb in the middle!
I wanted one of those in my twenties. Went to see a nice one in North London for £2k. Sadly my bank manager didn’t quite see my point of view. Seeing your beauty in those atmospheric shots rekindles the “itch”. Now would be a good time to avoid alcohol and the internet. Forgive me Lord, for I (might) have sinned https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17484920...pc3Pu5AgGT4qT+py0Ldu8iasHf|tkp:Bk9SR4j9kdqUYg
The first bike I ever saw that I fell in love with! One of the most beatiful bikes ever built (other opinions are available, but WRONG!). Always wanted one, never got one and certainly not flexible enough to ride one now! I am very jealous! Enjoy it.
