I haven’t watched, however it probably made some people uncomfortable being confronted with the reality of Conservative policy. So in time honoured tradition they want to shoot the messenger then go about their day without a second thought for those who find that living in Tory Britain is proper shit and nothing will change for them. Sadly
Pokerface. Columbo meets Suzi Quattro. Forgot the genre they call it but you see the crime then how she works out the perpetrators…liking it. Now I’m logged in I can’t quote the comments above re Tory treatment of Glasgow…havent SNP had power for decades now in devolved govt?! They have the money and choose how to spend it.
Just watched the Tottenham episode. Shocking stuff, finished watching it and then on the news 600+ more mouths bobbed ashore today, all needing feeding and housing. What a mess.
Really getting in to Succession, and now it’s finally finished I’ve all the series to catch up on back to back.
Stumbled across ‘Informer’ last night It’s a thrilling six-part drama series starring Paddy Considine, Nabhaan Rizwan and Bel Powley in the lead roles. The series follows Raza Shar, a second generation British-Pakistani man from East London, and his unexpected encounter with Gabe Waters and Holly Morten, who work as counterterrorism officers. The unlikely trio works together towards mutual benefits when Raza becomes an informer for the officers. The drama explores the complexities of the themes of identity, family and expectations. Seems gritty.
I know paddy quite well, couple of years younger than me, played football with his brother and his neice lives next door
Watched the first episode of Fubar on Netflix last night. Looks like it could be quite a good series. Arnie is always good entertainment value.
Been catching up with Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland. Bit of a BBC slant but interesting nonetheless.
Enjoyed a couple of hours of that last night - really interesting as it got dark. Now for the final 2hrs on in the background
Just finished the Netflix series covering the Tour de France. I don't follow or watch cycling as a sport, but I really enjoyed this series. Bloody brutal/merciless profession!
