Where To Get Parts For ‘93 900ss

  1. Hello folks,

    I am starting on refurb of my 93 carby 900SS and need to get new belts and steering head bearings. Can someone point me at best place to buy these please, UK based.

  2. I use these belts, a very prompt delivery too last time I used them ordered at noon on a Friday arrived before noon on the Saturday.

  3. There should be identification info on the end face of the head bearings so you can pass this info on to your friendly local (or internet) bearing supplier. There's aren't many bearings that are manufacturer specific... Pop a photo on here if you need help.

  7. This, they’re the same company using 2 sites….how odd.

    I’ve just cleaned my M900’s carbs, bought a cheap ultrasonic cleaner job jobbed.:)

  9. For bearings just identify the number in the face of the bearing and get them from a bearing supplier for a fraction of the cost a dealer will change you. Check out https://www.bearingsrus.co.uk or https://simplybearings.co.uk or eBay. Go for a well known brand such as SKF or similar. I replace all my head bearing with tapered roller versions which are better and a very normal upgrade. For belts I always used to fit genuine but now use belts made by CCW from http://www.exactuk.com/. They're cheaper and fit more precisely in my opinion.
