  1. Thanks DD, that’s really kind.

  2. I'd agree with all that, totally.

There's always "Plan B" of course - keep it! Your avatar says you're 49 - that's NOT OLD (ask me how I know) and you're a member of an exclusive club of people who are lucky enough to own such a bike and actually ride it... And if you don't fancy riding it on a particular day, you have other choices!

  3. for me, this is WAY more likely to sell quickly than the new unregistered one at 60k, so I wouldn't be scared off by that and drop the price too much. For reasons mentioned about, it's almost two different motorbikes within the same bike, because those that pay £60k for a new one can ONLY be people who know they can't use the bike due to the perceived value, where as the buyer who looks at yours is buying it to use. so for me totally different customer.

  4. Just so you know, this is me very much liking the cut of your jib.

  5. Thanks Phil. I’m with you on this one, so let’s hope we’re both right. I mean, it could happen. We’re long overdue.

  6. @Dave one for your collection

  7. Ah, he is from Norfolk. That explains it. He cannot ride it due to his webbed feet and hands.

  9. There’s much worse shit in the garage.

  10. My mate had a 964 turbo in a stunning blue. That left me impressed forever. But it was a bit of a dog if I recall. He sold it for £35k. Think they’re doing about >£230k now :astonished:

  11. If only this was the reason for my startling ineptitude.

  12. Yeah, 911s always do well. The little white one is my 14th, I think. I’ve loved every one of them, but I’d choose that little silver car over any of the stupid shit I’ve had previously, and will keep it forever.

  13. Although... Don't flame me, I'd rather have your MGS01...

  14. If only I even knew what that was. Is it a Guzzi?

  15. I thought that was yours, in the back of one of the pictures.. maybe my mistake.

  16. I don’t have a Guzzi chum. It might be from one of the pics from the nice place we bought it from (Moto Strada).

  17. Personally, I think it's great that a 964 holds it's value well. :D

  18. Who knew this whole bike selling experience would be choc full of time wasters?

  19. You could always give it to a high end specialist to sell for a commission if it gets too much hassle.

  20. Its a niche bike due to its value. Not many can afford a bike like that and those that can just want an immaculate lounge ornament.

I'd buy it. But alas I am not gifted in the finance stakes. Besides, I have a 1299S and thats more than enough me tbh.
