A day late as the club were slow finalising the results but 10th out of 67 in Div 1, 13th out of 97 overall. Combined with the club championship last week I've shaved 0.8 off my handicap index in 8 days. I may have to change my forum handle...
Moaned about the heat, rode down to the boat and fitted a new door handle, moaned about the heat, got back and mowed the lawns, oh and moaned about the heat.
I don’t like the heat, however the longer days that go hand in hand with the increase I’ll take. Winter is too long a slog for me with only short days .
Today i said to myself after removing the Superlight wheels for replacement tyres that i was sick to the back teeth of biking after 33/34 years.!
Played golf, again Work thing and first time on a course in competition with new iron. Well, I smashed it! Driver needs loads of work and woods also, but they're not too bad. Improvement required, but really pleased with myself and my new box of balls
Similar position but not quite sick to the back teeth as yet Just not seeing the point of biking with life getting in the way.

The wheels on my track bike were different colors front/rear and that won't do. Plus, neither of them were white. So, I spent about an hour spraying them. Took a few days to get them ready for the hour of spraying of course...
I've visited the hostipal this morning, collected two tyre change overs, van in for the orange light on, plus two hours walk there and back. Now cutting toe nails, i can sign them & pop them in a envelope for you.
I'd eight wonderful years on Ducati's ripping up the Kent, Sussex, Surrey countryside, so perhaps a change or a sabbatical.
Packing the Pennine for Donington ....... hot and sweaty work. Not allowed a beer yet, got a testing 3 hour drive ahead but there's plenty of chilled beer in the cold box to look foward to Andy
