I'm looking forward to the scenery as well as the race fight between the teams, also Cav getting that all time win would be the cherry on the cake.
If there’s an agreement between certain teams maybe. I’d prefer the previous holder to remain equal with the Manxman .
Day 12 (13th July), between Roanne and Belleville en Beaujolais, they’ll be cycling in our area all day long, and right across our village at some point. You may see some nice roads from above!
I know what you're saying as the previous holder was a very different animal to MC, but records are there to be broken.
Wear something appropriate for that standout moment in the crowd on the day so that we can spot you, but no patting down women's bottoms.
2 wasn’t bad either lol. What a pace they’re setting so early on! Need to get this sorted for next year.
15 year drought for Cofidis, WvA just couldn’t bridge that gap. Yates still in Yellow but not for long.
I think it’s a bit of a shame the gc riders have broken the back of 95% of the field after 2 days but it was sensational viewing all the same. I think it was about 30k out the Yates boys were one and two again haha. Up the brits etc.. and yes congrats to Cofidis that’s some wait.
I managed to view the last 44km's and boy it was as good as day one, for me the only disappointing thing was that Bradley Wiggins is no longer employed on the motorbike with the mic, his replacement Alberto can't speak english or won't for us.
I always love to watch the tour and so glad it hasn't yet disappeared behind the ubiquitous Sky pay wall. These guys are just so so fit and tough with it. I can remember an article by one of the motorcycle riders and he said on a particularly lairy wet descent down a Welsh mountain the cyclist was going down faster than he dared. And fact #37 - The Tour is a privately owned concern.
I had a mate (just the one mind) who rode escort on some of the national events, it isn’t just the wet descents that they’re faster/difficult to stay with. Been held up in the Lakes on some descents by motorcycles and naturally cars that are too unnerved by dry stone walls and narrow roads. Anyway Stage 2 highlights
I wouldn't say she was beautiful, beautiful, but she's not ugly and brings plenty to the table for me. She lives in Amsterdam with her partner & two children.
JP going first dibs on the green jersey he’s going to take some catching! Didn’t like the end to the stage today gimmick central with little substance. Cav needs more support too
