Prompted by the Hendrix/Cox picture on the other thread here's their album... one of my smoke after the pub fave rave albums.
Some great and varied posts on this thread, there's always so much amazing music to discover. Here's a few offerings.. Wichita Lineman - an old classic, done very nicely by Colin Hay. John Prine Nickel Creek Quint Starkie with Dorie Jackson Weezer - Pork and Beans!
I've never heard that one before ! ...... thanks Normally , when I feel the urge to Experience some Jimi , I go for Pali Gap ( it's from Rainbow Bridge .... maybe ? ) On a related topic , I offer this little ditty ..... ..... what a stunning performance from that drummer !
Jimi is always at his best when there's a hint of blues running through the track... Perhaps not quite as err... stunning as his leather half dungaree effort mind So from the sublime to the ridiculous how about one guitar, one bass & one snare drum?
Some good stuff in there - John Prine looks to be a dude. Here's some other names for you to cruise around youtube with that you may enjoy, Billy Strings, Tyler Childers, Sierra Ferrel, Bejamin Tod, Paul Cauthen & Colter Wall. Others beware because all of these do have a (modern) country bent to them.
