First 200 miles on my Panigale

  1. I have completed 200 miles on my Panigale, and was smiling everymile. The bike is awesome; surpassed all my expectations. It turns into cornerslike no other Ducati I’ve ever ridden. Even below 5500/6000 rpm the bike hasgood torque; nothing compared to 1198S, but enough. Cannot wait to see what it can do above7000rpm.
    By the way, thank you all for your kind replies to my last ‘thread.

  2. It must be lumpy as hell low down the revs surely? If you say it isn't then I don't believe you :tongue:

  3. I have the Termi with the upmap; above 4000rpm is fine, which is the same as 1198S with the termi and race ecu.

  8. Agree with all the above. I'm quite a strong bloke, but once you start using the motor up the rev range it's bl**dy hard work just to hang on ! I don't know what the 0-60, 0-100 is, but I guess it's not a lot.... have fun.

  9. I agree, I'm embarrassed to say it but I've nearly slid off the seat a few times and I'm 15stone. A race seat is on order!.

  10. Thank god for quick shift is all I can say. When it hits 8k I really do need to be holding on with all my fingers. None of this covering the clutch lever lark. lol

  12. Ya probably right. In my defense though it has been 24 years since I was last on a bike and it's not an 848. :wink:

  13. I have owned mine for 6 weeks and I love it. So much lighter than 1198s. Handling is better, it looks drop dead gorgeous. 8,000 rpm is like going into warp zone. Cant fault it apart from my nads hurt on long distance. I think I need a comfort seat to stop it feeling like I been kicked in the nads !

    My wants list is a Full Termi and Carbon BST. Will be a while for them though.
