Sadly not, traffic police paranoia put me off years ago!
Took a ride out to Willingham woods near Market Rasen tho, awesome roads...

 

Yep me again, I talked to a lad with an immaculate 996 that he has from new.

Go back roads and avoid A6 at busy times, generally be OK.

Matlock is still good fun.

 

He always parks in the same place, no sign of him as I was parked close by.

 

Me and mrs squeezey popped down to clay cross and then over to matlock yesterday on the 1198. She's completely new to the world of bikes and the last she said to me last night (after GOD ITS HUGE) lol was

i've had a great day and didnt think it would be so much fun. Oh and how fast did we go.........

Matlock is always good when the weathers nice and hasnt changed much in 20 years. Just more chippys

need somewhere more local for our new local night run after work if anyone can help

Hi guys its good to see at all the old faces on here, I took my 749 over to cornerspeed on saturday for its belts and service and at the same time picked Lukes (my son) monster up all fully serviced belts ect. I couldnt get it off him on sunday lol so I missed the good weather ill be out to play in a week or so

 

I too lost interest in Matlock many years ago when the Police prescence began to increase, but maybe it was as much to do with my 1100 Suzuki special with a straight through Harris pipe attracting too much attention from them.

Hey squeezey, if you are new to the area I can suggest some entertaining routes for you, as long as your South Yorkshire resident's permit allows you to cross the Trent into Lincolnshire.

Having a ride down to matlock bath in about an hour via the via gellia maybe belper too:wink:

 

There's usually a good meet at Scarclifffe (near Bolsover, but don't let that put you off) once the clocks have changed on a Tuesday night. All sorts welcome.

 

Couldn't resist a run out to Matlock today, very busy.
