Went to this today… Flippin fantastic!!..RAF Church Fenton near Tadcaster, went down on the Kawasaki with the panniers on so I could bung my helmet and other stuff in them and not have to lug them about. Fantastic selection of Warbirds, 12 Spitfires there altogether and at one stage 8 of them in the air flying, a sight I thought I’d never see! Guest appearance by a Lancaster as well, but I only took video of that. I took sun cream with me and like a dick didn’t use it,..regretting that now ! Loadsa pics to follow now..
Thanks, but it wasn’t actually our anniversary. I just said that on the booking, to get a good table! I did feel a bit guilty when they brought the brownies out at the end!
The morning started well with rocking up at 8.45 on site for a laminate flooring job, all existing wood flooring removed and a little self levelling compound applied, but the client needs a thicker underlay for the undulations throughout the rooms.
I use knee pads or a thick foam pad so all ok at the minute, the only problem's the customer has moved the goal posts since we last spoke at 2pm.
Getting used to this retirement lark wife and I had a drive into Norfolk and a night in a pub in Hilborough food was good then had a ride to Lakenheath and watched the yanks playing for an hour

Dug out the dog crate from the back of the garage and gave it a spruce up ready for an upcoming new arrival.
