Multistrada Dvt High Level Satnav Mount

  1. In need of a high level mount, prefer the Ducati or Navihalter type, already got Evotech and not impressed, must fit Garmin XT.

  2. What's the issue with the Evotech one?

If it's vibrations then they all do that as this is more down to the way the screen is mounted and adjusted than the nav mounts themselves.

  3. Mainly yes I'm selling the locking touratech mount on as it's very heavy and heard of the screen adjustment area it's mounted to breaking, so just trying something that spreads the weight a little more

  4. I've got the OEM one Alan, fitted the my 2019 950s for a few weeks and has the converter bracket for the XT.

It's on here somewhere and can't remember the price :D but £50 posted maybe

  5. The combined weight seems to me to be a significant factor. When I went from a Zumo 590 to an XT, which is quite a bit lighter, I noticed a reduction in the wobbles. Not eliminated by any means, more reduced.

I have the same OEM bracket as @Burnsey with an adapter plate. The Ducati mount is made for the Ducati version of the Garmin which is a Zumo 395. Annoyingly this doesn't use the same AMPS 4 hole pattern that virtually all Garmins have used prior to and after that model. Thus the requirement for the additional adapter plate.

Iconic parts make a mount similar to the Ducati and Navihalter one, @Jamie Clare, who runs Iconic, is a member on here. This comes with the correct hole pattern for your XT.

Last I heard, admittedly this was a few years ago, the guy who was Navihalter was involved in a serious bike accident. At that time the company seemed to cease trading. Though I now note it seems to be resurrected.
