190 hp from a 1098s

  1. Quite probably, as Chris has alluded to. Maybe once I get bored of the power I have.

  2. Priced the cams (1098R & 1198R) here in Oz today. Over the counter $$$. Holy crap - $4,400 for the set!

  3. Yep......together with all the hot air that's blown around here all day

  4. Feck me! What are they made from, Mithril?

  5. No something more human; Inconel. Just kidding. Be some hardened steel I suspect. Still made by dwarves though. Clever dwarves though.

  6. Made in New Zealand then, so it will be the import tax ;-) lol

The blue is a 1098R built elseware with pistol pistons and a 70mm exhaust. We mapped it

The red is the 1098S head version named the PUNISHER.

  8. Good read, just shows flow is every thing and bigger valves does not necessarily equal more power, just a shame flow dynamics is such chaotic math.

Who needs a Panigale with full system when you can have a 1098S :)

    Blue the 1098s
    The panigale is in red
