Was fortunate enough to see him live, and he was absolutely superb; always about his guests, never about him. A great loss to the world of TV interviewing. And, iirc, he was the first to unleash a young Billy Connolly on an unsuspecting mainstream TV audience, for which I’m eternally grateful. RIP Parky, and thanks for some fantastic memories.
