FFS Chris, there’s a thread specifically for this activity. I’m fairly sure you’ve been warned previously about this.
Got stopped by the PO PO, for overtaking a taxi on a bend. An event that as I explained to the po po didn’t happen in the way he described.
Made the Mrs breakfast and casually started the ‘May buy another bike, thinking of the ST4S for sale I’ve seen locally’ chat….met with ‘you don’t ride the ones you’ve got’. Slowly slowly, catchy monkey….. means I’d have the magical trio: fast track road bike, fun cafe racer/monster, tourer for work and other haunts in years to come. And helps all be ducati and two very similar mechanically….
I’ve got that conversation coming up but I think I’ve already been rumbled, she caught me making space in the workshop the other day and gave me a look.
Put some miles on the Gsxr today as it’s finally dry out. Had a bit of fun with a guy on a Gs1200, those things can really hustle along!
Changed the the tax state of my late fathers 400/4 - now classed as historic....with the no tax and mot benefits that come with it! - and insured as well...bosh...50 quid.
Last night, went to this - Ducati team Moto GP dinner night at Silverstone 4 hours drive down for me and my mate.. So I was more than ready for a pint of “ Wife Beater” .. Venue was the BRDC clubhouse and it was done out very nicely And had a few tasty bikes adorning the place,…£56 grand anyone?? Up on the roof terrace for drinks and a good chat with Lambchop rides, the YouTube vlogger and Emma Franklin of MCN. Neil Hodgson was the compère for the evening and he did a great job .. Being an ex Ducati man he had a great rapport with Pecco and Enea.. And also Paolo Ciabatti, ..trying to scrounge a ride on Pecco’s bike Great entertaining night and the charity raffle was something else , a Tee shirt signed by Pecco and Enea went for £500 !! Stayed overnight at the Hilton hotel on the circuit and after breakfast we watched the free practice sessions for all groups, amazing, but the sound of the Ebikes was rubbish compared to the Moto GP bikes, absolutely glorious they were, great couple of days
Yeah I had a similar chat with mine the other night, said I don’t want to get rid of the SF when the Monster comes. When I explained that by having money tied up in things, rather than in the bank, if I ever end up in a care home she can just sell them off the record.
Invite directly from Ducati, they sent me a customer survey to fill in recently and I think that must have generated the invite from them, if you don’t reply to their email invite asap you don’t get a place, sells out instantly
Sat around for 3 hours as where I’m working can’t find a work permit form. It’s now close to midnight.
