  1. Yeah I think you're right. I think it's a whopping 1L bigger if I remember rightly. :joy: Still, I'm sure that we'll be stopping every 80-100 miles for a break anyway. :upyeah:

  2. So the bike left the factory last Wednesday, am I being too impatient or do you knowledgeable folk think that all being well I could potentially have the bike next week based on your experiences? I just happen to be off next week so it would work out perfectly if so, which is why I have my fingers crossed. :D

  3. Never mind, the dealer answered my question yesterday afternoon when he said the bike will be with them Monday (when they're shut), but the'll take it in Tuesday and sort it Wednesday for me ready for a Thursday collection next week. Result.

  4. Exciting stuff. I just had my 22 SFV4S serviced and it received a new software update that has really improved the smoothness of the bike - not that it wasn't ace already!

Enjoy your new bike and look forward to the shiny new bike pics!

  5. For what it's worth, I ordered in December 21 and got my bike late April 22..

  6. Not too far off that for mine then. Mid-May order and a delivery the start of August is alright in my mind, especially knowing ahead of time that it would be July build and August delivery.

Having ordered a car back in Dec '21 that still doesn't have a confirmed build slot, a 2.5 month wait for a vehicle is like a breath of fresh air. Haha.

  7. I also had a car on order that I eventually gave up on, opted out of the company car scheme and leased my own car which was on my drive in 2 weeks.

  8. She's arrived! Managed to get my various bits and pieces fitted that' I'd been hoarding in my garage, with minimal mishaps thankfully. Now just need to get some miles on it before the first service on the 15th. :)

  11. I have a friend back from abroad that was getting work done to his on the 15th so I figured I'd just share a van or a ride to the dealership with him, otherwise I wouldn't be trying to squeeze it in as quickly! Especially with the weather we've been having...

  12. a week is plenty time to do 600 miles

  17. The weather is looking pretty terrible up with us in Scotland for the next week or so but it looks like it might sort itself out towards the end of next week and let me get some miles done. I don't have an issue riding in the rain but I don't see the point in going out for a 'fun' ride in it because it's just a bit miserable.

  18. That white sticker on the side needs to go!

And don’t get me started on the weather; all week they’ve been saying it’ll be dry all weekend down here, now there’s a 40% chance of rain. Seeing as it normally pisses down with anything higher than a 10% chance, I’m not holding out any hope.

  19. I didn't even notice the sticker and now that you've pointed it out it's all I can see! I'll have to take a look and find out what it actually says before I just whip it off, I assume it's some sort of HSE thing though.

  20. It'll be some load of old bollocks. I always remove all the stickers off the frame with a hairdryer, then stick them onto an A4 sheet for the file.
