Hi folks, I'm about to be back on a 2009 m1100s pretty soon after selling my s4r a couple of years back. I won't be taking a passenger very often and was wondering what rearsets/single front footrest setup you guys favour to get rid of the HUUUUUUGE standard pillion passenger hanger? Thanks,Dave.
Hi - I have an M1100S and also absolutely hated the massive footrest plates. After a lot of searching I managed to find some reasonably priced rearsets on eBay - I cannot remember the make - will let you know when I next go in the garage.
Here you go - make is J4race.com. Bought back in 2012. They are likely of Chinese origin but they work well and have lasted 11 years so far! Edit - looks like they come from Spain originally.
