Anyone know where I can source a fuel cap seal for my Monster 821 (probably the same on a lot of models ) . It’s the seal between cap and tank filler neck. Ducati only offer a complete cap at about £200+ . Thanks
Using this search term 'Ducati replacement fuel cap seal' on Google throws up multiple potential sources including eBay. They all see reasonably priced £2 > £11. Good luck......
Had already done that but all that came up were external seals between filler cap and tank , nothing for the seal in the filler cap.
Do you know the part number? [This shows up for me - it might be worthwhile checking as it relates to the cap] Ducati Gasket 79110151A and O-Ring 88640111A
As far as I can make out the seal is part of the item shown as 15 on the diagram and Ducati sell it as a complete unit £200+ .
Had similar issue on my M900 but had to admit defeat and buy a complete new lockset from China to get decent fuel cap. Came in at about fifty quid and tbh looks like the original item (minus the elephant though )
