I’ve just Sold my Daughters Nissan Micro for £648, £2 less than I expected. You could well be on to something there Chris.
Interesting - they look good. I have wondered for a long while why manufacturers don't have this sort of thing as an option, so they have the advantage of being tested & proven...
Popped in to see @finm at his garage today where he very kindly swapped over the pulley wheels on two alternators. Cheers bud! See you in Largs !

Been shopping, done washing and ironing, started packing for a long weekend in Bannau Brycheiniog, lubed the chain on the Multistrada.
Been to guitar shop with the lad after testing a few he wants a Standberg…… The music man StVincent was a very close second but could get to grips with it’s shape.
Yes it’s very Marmite, he likes the fact that it isn’t the ‘usual’ shape. He mostly plays seated and just likes how it sits in him when he’s playing. He tried a few the St Vincent sounded good too but he wasn’t comfortable playing it. https://www.andertons.co.uk/brands/...an-st-vincent-goldie-electric-guitar-cashmere
hi Fin The old alternator will be going off for reconditioning and kept as a spare. I have mounted the new one already. where are the shims? I have not yet been to Nardini’s. Unbelievable, I know!
i put them between the pully and securing nut. aww mate, possibly the hottest spring and early summer on record and you huvny been to Nardini's? i'm guessing that yacht (b.o.a.t) is bleeding you dry of time and cash
