Slightly off-topic ..... or not ? ..... it's difficult to judge in this thread Anyway , check out this action shot of " racing spec " suspension ...... early 60s stylee .
When I look at that pic I can hear the engine and I can smell the slightly rich exhaust and leather upholstery. It’s only when you encounter a car from the past that you realise how anodyne modern vehicles are. They look great, they’re incredibly powerful, are festooned with mind boggling gadgetry, you can drive one over a cliff and will probably survive safely cocooned amongst all the air bags, and, considering how complicated they are, they very rarely break down, but something got lost along the way. When cars wuz cars…..
Good grief. If they’re willing to expose those two abominations to public view, then God only knows what’s under that silver cover
I wouldn’t get in any of those without a balaclava, shades and cap. Especially that Range Rover… jeezus…
….and a gun to my head Edit: looking again at the pics, the cars do look like the sort that would be owned by someone familiar with ski masks and shooters, so we might be closer to the truth than we realise.
Legally, shouldn't that have to have an orange hi-viz workman's top attached to the overhanging obstuction?
