Sailed in Scotland. At least it seemed like it. Hazy sunshine & light breeze, then thick clouds & fair wind, a deluge of rain & freezing gusty wind, some sun & moderate breeze, finishing with hot sun / no wind at all. No matter, it was a good day on the water, and I've ordered some 1.5mm wetsuit bottoms to wear for the next few weeks, before full 4mm wetsuit conditions kick in. Though I might not be sailing much by then!
That’s just the warm up for when she gets to 18. Then it’ll be you looking like that after the drop offs pickups for the nightclubs……
Well yesterday morning I was rushed in to hospital with a suspected heart attack. Six hours later after several ECG’s and blood tests I was declared ok, and everything was normal, and it was put down as a “non specific chest pain”. No follow up, no meds…….just have to stop rushing around like a blue arsed fly and take it easy for a while
Been there and it’s a warning Terry. Pleased you are okay but please, time to take stock and relax. Take care mate. Andy
Yep, I had the same a couple of years ago. It was a bit of a worry, but the complete lack of explanation of what it was and why it happened was quite concerning. I'm still here though. You're retired, you should be taking it easy!
Bit of a disappointment this morning, our Almeria trip in October has been cancelled. A group dropped out at the last minute (when the deposit was due) which left the trip unviable Feel for the organisers who have put in a lot of effort and have been left financially exposed. Andy
Glad you are OK. Time to sit back and relax and think everything through. As @Android853sp says, it's a warning, or a 'cheap lesson'.
Oh dear. Take it easy, glad you’re ok. There’s a bug been going around that gives chest pains and upper back pain as well as fatigue. Could it be that?
There’s nothing more important than your health, El T, so treat everything else accordingly. Take it easy.
Just got back from a couple of hours in the sun on the 899. Simply lovely. (I dont know how people take pictures when theyre out btw, i aint stopping for no one except the pesky fuel light)
Bloody hell Terry! Just got back from Canada and saw your post. Hope you're feeling better now and like everyone says take it easy. And on a personal level get well soon cos now I'm back I will be needing someone to organise the North Yorkshire ride outs in future.
Went to Whitby. Had a lunch comprising fishcake, chips, curry and a battered sausage chaser. All swilled down with a can of dandelion and burdock.
