  1. Hello,
Does anyone have any recommendations for engine bar luggage, 6/12 litre capacity?

  2. Do they fit human heads? I like to carry my last victims decapitated skull for shits-n-giggles.

Now, back on track why the hell would you want to cause massive air reducing effect by adding bags to the sides of the front end.

  3. ……only as an alternative to peering over the top of my tank bag full of fingers, toes and dental identifications making my already top heavy centre of gravity heavier

  4. What on earth are you guys carrying, to warrant all these bags?!

  6. I’ve learned over time to take less and less.
They say to lay out on the floor what you want to take…..and then halve it.

  14. This thread is hilarious.
You're touring. Take little, make do, wash wear and buy what you didn't pack.
Make do and adapt. It's not like you're gonna be more than 30 minutes away from civilisation.

  15. Each time I go I take less and less. Like you say, you can buy pretty much what you want anywhere now……usually in the same shops you find in the UK now sadly.

  16. Me too. I now see it as a challenge for how little I can take.
I'm away now for 3 weeks, 5 pants, 5 tops + 2 merino riding shirts, 3 riding socks, 1 flip flops, 1 trainers, 3 shorts and some stergene to wash them with.
I've packed too much as I've washed as I have worn.

  17. That’s exactly what I do, though I don’t take that much! For the sake of two minutes at the end of each day to wash out what you’ve worn that day, it’s no issue at all.

  18. I've yet to achieve the Zen like levels of minimal packing of @Siddo & @Multirider75 but I have noticed that what I pack for a long weekend isn't that much less than what I take for a couple of weeks.

I've learned over the years that what you pack expands to fill what you pack it into, so I won't be buying any engine bar bags, a rack for the top box or those nice little bags to go on top of the panniers.

  19. I agree Steve, I think we are all often guilty of the ‘oh, I’ll take that just in case’ school of packing.
