Hope LeeBob gets a decent seat now this has been revealed. https://bikesportnews.com/british-s...ax-cook-at-fs-3-kawasaki-for-2024-bsb-season/
Yes, the commentary team for the BSB were talking about that on Sunday. Sad for Jackson and not sure O’Halloran has what it takes to make the Kawasaki competitive. Andy
Can’t see this being a great move tbh but there’s not many seats about. Rumours of pbm packing it in at the end of the year as well
Blimey. BeerMonster’s pretty crap site has been deactivated. I heard PBM were backing out last year. Maybe Birdy will pull the plug, especially as it looks like one of his bikes will win this year. Go out on a high. Will be interesting to see if anyone can afford to put up a team to replace PLB and Raceways.
Potentially, some good riders looking for rides where the number of seats is diminishing. That could include the defending champion. Andy
in a way, as awful as it sounds, it could be the best thing for the series to have a load of riders without bikes, or teams who pull out, as they will QUICKLY have to act and reduce the costs or increase the prize money or returns for the teams. that said, they are still all rocking tools in the garage made from carbon fibre and ridiculous extravagances that make no difference to laptime on track.
As an aside, spoke to another marshall at Thruxton and he is convinced Palmer is going to announce a round at Navarro. Don't see it happening myself, way too much added cost and time for the teams. Andy
yeah he will mate, and he will make it ‘compulsory’ for the teams to go, like they did with the test this year.
I tend to agree. He gave my mates son a massive dressing down for showing his frustration trackside after an off. Nothing major just a bit of arm waving. Higgs reaction was completely uncalled for. Who knows what Faye sees in him. He seems a bit power crazy to me.
Yeah, strange guy. This whole thing with dropping stock 600 is a crap idea 35k super twins that nobody’s interested in… oh yeah… on a controlled ecu…. That he sells..
All the speculation is about next year. Interestingly, Shakey wouldn't be drawn this morning, during his visit to the MotoGP BT commentary booth, about who might be BSB champion. Andy
It’s good he’s got a ride. Although he seems to love the handling of the yam and can’t see that Kawasaki being half the handling bike of his current one
