  1. Can’t see this being a great move tbh

but there’s not many seats about. Rumours of pbm packing it in at the end of the year as well

  2. That doesn’t surprise me given his major sponsor no longer has it’s own internet presence. Andy

  3. Blimey. BeerMonster’s pretty crap site has been deactivated.

I heard PBM were backing out last year. Maybe Birdy will pull the plug, especially as it looks like one of his bikes will win this year. Go out on a high.

Will be interesting to see if anyone can afford to put up a team to replace PLB and Raceways.

  4. seems Birdy might be having some struggles health wise, not sure if physical or mental

  5. Potentially, some good riders looking for rides where the number of seats is diminishing. That could include the defending champion. Andy

  6. in a way, as awful as it sounds, it could be the best thing for the series to have a load of riders without bikes, or teams who pull out, as they will QUICKLY have to act and reduce the costs or increase the prize money or returns for the teams.

that said, they are still all rocking tools in the garage made from carbon fibre and ridiculous extravagances that make no difference to laptime on track.

  7. Not sure "quickly" exists in Palmer and Higg's vocabulary :joy: Andy

  8. As an aside, spoke to another marshall at Thruxton and he is convinced Palmer is going to announce a round at Navarro. Don't see it happening myself, way too much added cost and time for the teams. Andy

  9. yeah he will mate, and he will make it ‘compulsory’ for the teams to go, like they did with the test this year.

  10. Agree with this. Higgs is a monumental bell end

  11. I tend to agree.
He gave my mates son a massive dressing down for showing his frustration trackside after an off. Nothing major just a bit of arm waving.
Higgs reaction was completely uncalled for.
Who knows what Faye sees in him. He seems a bit power crazy to me.

  12. Yeah, strange guy.

This whole thing with dropping stock 600 is a crap idea

35k super twins that nobody’s interested in… oh yeah… on a controlled ecu…. That he sells..

  13. Is there a defending champion, thought Brad Ray won it, and he's in wsbk

  14. All the speculation is about next year. Interestingly, Shakey wouldn't be drawn this morning, during his visit to the MotoGP BT commentary booth, about who might be BSB champion. Andy

  15. Rumours of shakey running a team as well

  16. I'd like to see that happen. Shakey's aching to be part of it again somehow I'm sure.

  17. It’s good he’s got a ride. Although he seems to love the handling of the yam and can’t see that Kawasaki being half the handling bike of his current one

  18. I reckon Shakey might run PBM now then as Bird has passed.
