For the second time, my bike was as dead as a doornail when trying to start. First time the dealer said it was a loose wire under the seat and supposedly fixed it. This time i looked around under the seT myself and have traced the fault to the clear plastic covered fused main cable post on the right side at the rear under the riders seat. i can physically lift the entire post up at which point I can replicate the power supply interruption. Has anybody else had this issue, what is there to be loose? All the bloomin settings revert to kmph and clock foes to zero, at least I know where the problem lies.
Take it back to the dealer, show him the problem and "request" that it is repaired to your satisfaction. Andy
Nope. I live in Llantrisant. Nige is the name, Tricolore MTS is the game! Give me a shout if you see the bike at Riders or at Terrys on the veranda.
Sure thing will do, dont stop on the Veranda much these days when headed north, the weather always seems bleak. I tend to run on to the Deffynog road and stop at the garage in Sennybridge, nice sit down with a cuppa and a toasted teacake. Obviously my age.
Just a quick update, Riders of Cardiff sorted my Electrical issue and a whole lot more stuff. I am extremely impressed by the way they slotted my bike in for some work to meet a deadline (I had to go on a run today). Big thanks to Craig, John and Scott for doing a great job, nothing was too much trouble for these guys.
