do you still have to do that "slightly change direction at 50 mph" thing, or is that on the later test, if at all?
I suppose that’s on the mod 1 test where you swerve and brake at 30 from what I recall he had to complete. Theory test first Then Module 1 which is a dodge the cones brake test. Then Module 2 which is the traditional riding test with some questions. Hoping to get a trackday booked for him now. Not sure if we’ll use the MX125 or the RS125 if we can.
re: "30 mph" looks like they've lowered the speed then, unless I remember incorrectly. It was controversial at the time because if day of test was wet/raining, some people were coming off their bike!
He didn’t mention a swerve brake test on module 2, I’m certain he would have given he’d completed that part in module 1. Might be they have abolished the 50mph swerve test on the open road if they found them to be problematic.
Drove down south and returned with a new lady in my life, 10 months old called Layla and I love her already
Played with launch control several times in the car, nearly got it to its top speed in the French countryside. Realised my wife really doesn’t like going fast!
Today I did a fabulous snorkel safari off Wembury Beach. When I get home I shall see if I caught anything-on my cameras!
Fitted the Evotech tail tidy with the Ducati performance mini indicators, and new sprockets with a gold D.I.D chain. Oh and took the new Monster out for a couple of hours, great bike.
This afternoon started prep the bay windows on front of house. A bit of wood rot as usual, pity they were neglected before I moved in.
Some men travel all the way to Thailand for that sort of thing, i guess we're all on a budget these days.
Spent the morning cleaning up the carnage after a bbq with the neighbours yesterday. Me and a couple of the neighbours take part in the local’s pub quiz and the bbq was wholly funded from our winnings. Happy days.
it takes around 40 minutes and I have it 4 times a year to help with the pain in my bones and to stop them breaking down and not being able to repair quick enough It gives flu like symptoms It's called Zometa Along with that I had my 4 weekly chemo https://www.myeloma.org.uk/understanding-myeloma/treating-myeloma/supportive-care-treatments/ I saw the bin and put some context to it
More good deeds....spent the day yesterday helping my next door neighbour build a block retaining wall....he asked me months ago so i talked him through how to lay the footings (lent him my mixer) then yesterday we started on the block work...im no fountain of knowledge but he watched me build my wall when i was tackling my garden renovation (which was my first block wall) so seeing as i knew how to and had a mixer i offered to help, so that was yesterday. Fast forward to this morning...went over to see a lad on the z forum who's having a bit of a hard time at the moment, hes disabled, got fired from work (no fault of his) and there were issues with his bike...so figured if i went over and got all of those sorted he'd feel a bit better....all problems fixed and back home...bite to eat then back out for more block laying...ill be having an early night tonight..!
