Just clicked over 32k miles on today’s hoon :upyeah:
Gave my mate a ride on it as he’s never tried it since I fitted the carbon wheels, K-Tech shock etc, his first words when he got off it were,….” Don’t ever sell this :astonished: !”

  2. Absolutely....youtuber's change bikes like their underwear....had my old RSV4 factory for almost 13 years now....went out on it earlier and still love it...no plans to sell it either..if youve got a good bike then wheels, suspension etc etc make a good bike better.

  5. these things have to be ridden, and spanked, if theres stuff to sort then get the wallet out, thats the way i look at it

crack a fairing? dont mourn, just get a new one

i have a pal with a 748r, with 3000 miles, he's not been out this year, and hasn't started it in 6 months

  6. I have an ad for some carbon Dymags for an RSV4 for sale... Great upgrade. for your bike?

  9. I just don’t get people like this who have a bike, insure, tax and service it and then don’t ride them
Bikes are to be ridden and enjoyed with your mates, this Friday I’m off for 4 days to Scotland with the lads on the workhorse Kawasaki, can’t wait, we laugh like drains from start to finish :joy: :joy:!

  10. Why didn’t you enjoy it then @cookster ?
We are lucky up here to have some fantastic roads, North Yorkshire, got the Helmsley TT and Alston routes and loads of others on the doorstep, add in 3 or 4 mates and a beautiful 25c sunny day :sun: like today, the Panigale booming away underneath me and I’m happier than a dog with two tails :D:upyeah:

  12. Be Nice but ive got the factory so yeah - i fully accept they'd be better but id end up in the divorce courts...i do have a mate who has some BST wheels on his RSV4 and when i first went round his house there was one on the wall....i asked the obvious question...he replied "i fucking dropped it and cant bring myself to throw it away!" so its nailed to the wall to remind me to be more careful...

How much you looking for? :)

  13. I am selling for my mate who has sold his Tuono - he wants £1500. They’re in excellent condition.

  16. I took my 748 out for a blast too, apart from the contortion I had a blast. It’s just one of those things I guess.

  17. Very sorry -
Was meant as a like !
I’ve had my 899 from new in 2014 & still bloody love it. Not done as many miles as you though only 16000.

  18. Using a bike as intended seems a little out of fashion these days judging by the numbers of low miles bikes for sale. Even selling a 20 year old bike that had averaged only 1500 miles a year seemed to draw, blimey that's high miles comments and knock a shi7 load off the market value.

Getting out and enjoying your bike is what it should be about.

  19. And there’s me still thinking I should sell mine… I’ve ridden mine twice since March… for two reasons, 1, it’s got a coolant leak so have been waiting for the pump etc and to fix it, and 2) I’ve got a main bike I ride most of the time.

I know I should let it go and put the money into clearing debt but just can’t let it go at the moment

  20. i am always hankering to ride mine, every day, ride it at much as possible, but sometimes life gets in the way.

had a cracking run a last week, 15 of us in total (mostly triumph) did about 180 miles in a day, weather perfect, all along the coast, i spilt off and spanked it a bit on my way back, roads dry tyress warm, i remember thinking, 'this is it, this is a good as it gets'

its exactly like being a 14 year old with your BMX, meeting up with mates, showing off a bit, doing jump or two, talking about bikes and tricks
