No, some I rode through were 20 some were 30 and some villages were even 40. All designed to confuse you and catch you out and steal your cash. I remember a time when towns and villages were all 30 and everyone understood that rule.
Seems you may need to drag along a decent rally navigator and gear so that you know how fast you've been going and where to stop and for how long... Great fun on regulation rallies, not a whole lot of fun on yer Sunday morning blast... Hopefully I'll be too old to ride by the time they eventually do something like that here.
After breaking down on saturday and pissing about with batteries i've finally ordered a new one from Tayna as Halfords can't get the depth measurements listed correctly on their web page.
I was in Oxfordshire on Saturday, and loads of villages there are now 20mph. I still think that’s way too fast, and should be reduced to 5mph with average cameras asap.
Considering the majority of people that i see driving from zero mph that don't have clutch control below 50mph, a lot of stalling with be the order of the day for sure if that happened.
After I saw the first average speed camera at the start I thought that’s ok I’ll stop at the top for a look at the view and I’ll be fine because they won’t have cameras up on the top just one at the other end because of the lack of power, well they’ve thought of that with 3 of the cameras on large solar set ups. Apparently the locals ain’t happy about them either.
Grass strimming everywhere today for me and others as you do, but before that a walk for a warm up first and spotted this dog bag, what's wrong with folk today with taking it home with them. The worst of it was that i removed my sweat shirt as i was in a forward motion and stepped into some S.H.1.T, not too pleased.
Took the car for its mot today, passed but I had a look underneath while it was over the pit and noticed some corrosion starting so I got it up on the ramps and coated it in Acf50 . Its back in the garage under its cover until next years mot
The usual thing with the minority over the majority ruining it for others, i've an idea perhaps we could tip it into their bedrooms alongside the litter idiots bedrooms.
That’s nice! I spent from 0930 to 1630 listening to ibm salesmen….. at least I was in the 911 today so something nice
Arrived home late last night. Going to spend the rest of the day washing a pannier bag of dirty clothes and two bikes. Did just under 2000Km and consumed around 5000 calories a day Andy
Was it hanging from a tree, bag it but won’t bin in some kind of weird halfway compliance. Or a another favoured by dog walkers throw it in the canal or other body of water.
Rode into Wales again today to Rhayader and onto the Elan valley. Love riding that road so much, I just hope it doesn’t get ruined. Off to clean the bike now it’s filthy!
