  1. What was TB46 up to in race 2?!! Has his head gone?

Irwin with a 3.5 point lead in the championship going into race 3 :astonished:

  2. Good to see him come back strong in race three although I’m not sure how sensible it is declaring “all out war” with one of the Irwin clan.
Should be a tasty end to the season.

  3. Seems like Irwin said something and TBs people went for him on social media.

Shame really. Healthy competition is good but no need for daft fall outs.

    Not sure Birdy would approve.

  4. I wonder if it was anything to do with what he (GI) said after race 2 akin to "i hope he learns from his mistake".
Wasnt exactly the most gracious approach especially as he was likely gifted the win by that very mistake.

  5. It’s taken a bit longer than I expected but this is exactly what I expected. Andy

  6. GI said after Race 3 it was something to do with what he said earlier about being raised properly. I think TBs people took that to mean TB hadn't and it went (on social media) from there.

I don't do social media so not entirely sure.

  7. Bad decision in my opinion, as the lead rider it was down to Bridewell to dictate the pace! It wasn’t like he slammed the brakes on ! It’s for the riders behind to look! This is a relatively new rule down to the moron Higgs,
“ if they deem it dangerous “ funny that! Wonder if he’d of deemed it dangerous if it was a FHO bike! Bullshit!

  9. I’m with you on that. If bridewell wanted to do 10mph they can’t pass. Simple. It’s what it should be: an advantage to the lead rider. He could have been 20 secs up the road then all of a sudden the pack back on him. Poor decision.

Anyone have a link to or know what GI said? Sky box didn’t record race 2 so missed it!!

  10. He said it was a bit silly etc Bradders, nothing to inflammatory! I think it was more about what was said on social media etc, spiced up the next few rounds though!

  11. Other people sticking their bugles in, probably.

I did see them fist-bump in Parc Ferme after the interviews with Shakey.....

  12. What went on in Race 2? Eurosport decided not to show it for some reason.

  13. TB brake tested the following riders at the end of a safety car period and got done for unsafe riding. Time penalty put him in 6th position. Andy

  14. Thanks.
That's a bit of a twatty thing to do on the road, can't think why one would do that behind a safety car.

  15. Did I miss something!!! I certainly didn’t see him brake testing! I saw him slow the pack down yes but nothing else! Did I miss that? Obviously that would have been a bit daft!

  16. TB’s released a statement explaining his thoughts on the matter. Basically says he was looking to warm his tyres as he didn’t want to end up on the floor at the first corner with 25 bikes behind him. Accepts the decision by the organisers but feels that he did nothing wrong.

  17. IMO, the Discovery+ coverage showed exactly that. The commentary team thought it was fine but back tracked when they came to the conclusion the decision must be about rider safety. In this instance, IMO, TB got called bang to rights and it fits very well with his lack of race craft. All BSB sanctions are filed on the MSV website so I’ll have a look later in the week to see what was said. Andy

  18. I’d love to see the telemetry data that aligns with that statement. Andy

  19. To me it looked like he just shit the throttle when everyone else was starting to wind on because they thought he would be. Imo he did nothing wrong
