Bought this new from Ducati before I parted out my 1098. It has been test fitted but hasn't seen road use and been stuck in storage. Planned on using in an RS build but it the R/RS frame has a larger headstock which needs a different bracket so need to buy another one. This is in brand new condition. The part number 82929432A was superceded by 82929433A but is still the same part. Looking for £200 which includes UK postage. These are currently priced at £226 from Ducati.
For info - I put a second hand one of these on my 1098R (to allow me to keep the original in good condition) - I agree that they don't fit the R headstock - I measured my original one and simply sawed the 848/1098 one to suit - fitted perfectly.
@RickyX I was aware of someone else who done this also and made a good job of it but my OCD gets the better of me and I could be doing with freeing some money up just now. Price drop £170.
