  3. Sold my house for full asking price and found a place with an extra bedroom a garage and communal gardens that don’t need me wasting my time mowing them.

Downside is it needs completely ripping apart from top to bottom and smells like someone’s died in it.

  6. I made a mental note of this when I read it whilst on holiday in Rhodes a while back, and meant to comment. belatedly I now am!

I did this with my brother in July 21 which was, as you say good fun. The next year we went back and did the two day gravel tour, now if you enjoyed what you've just done, then I thoroughly recommend the gravel tour.

Off road across the tops of the Brecons and other areas, up along down and across some fabulous tracks, paths, fields and rivers. its proper travelling as opposed to up and down the smaller sections and boots you've just done

if I can ill find a couple of pictures and also video my brother took of me parking my bike vertically in a hedge on the side of an uphill slippery rocky path. I leant back a bit, couldn't keep my weight forward and the throttle came open a touch more than necessary... It took four of us to get the back back down again. great fun.

well recommended, and more than one person - not me on this occasion- came off/got stuck in some of the water crossings- proper hard stuff to master.

  11. Stopped and asked a cyclist whether he was ok as he was pushing his bike, nobody asked me in recent times when it happened to me so i thought i'd bag some credit for a later date as you do.

  18. you did a nice thing by stopping to check, can't speak for everyone of a similar age on here, but did it every time around 48 years ago, only slowly stopped over the years for a variety of reasons but still would now if looked genuine and I thought I could help.
