  1. My ducati has a problem, when riding it boggs , losses power and it feels like ot shuts off for a mili second then turns on again , headlight flicker also, ive changed spark plugs and rectifier and its still the same

    Please check the video

  2. Well... it's electical. I can tell you that. Could it be a failing rectifier ? or the Alternator itself ?

  3. Check all battery and earth connections for tightness.....

  4. well done for recording a useful symptom at around 52 seconds onwards as tacho display flashing is obviously connected to the problem. As Rushjob says, it's time to go through every single ignition related connector and component, even the smallest corrosion at the connector to the dashboard instrument could cause this. As you've done the rectifier that ought to be ruled out hopefully, Was the regulator connector closest to unit ok? - no corrosion? ditto alternator connector.

  5. Also check ECU connections.
    Welcome to the forum. ;)

  6. Yes, I had the same problem on my 748, found it by accident just moving the ECU connector.

  7. I had the same issue with my 1098s a few years ago, after checking every electrical connection, VR, battery, stator etc. It turns out the nut on the flywheel had worked its way loose. It's worth checking if nothing else works
