To be fair, the choice was motivated by wanting gloss black and BMW only do carbon. Followed recommendations and ended up with a poor quality set. The supplier has agreed to day to send a new set, so they’ll go on In the interim, booked it in for the M-Performance carbon version at the month end, which will allow time to decide. My last car was festooned with carbon and really wanted to stay away this time, but quality may be the deciding factor.
Did 60 odd miles on the Z400, love that little bike, you can ride the hell out of it and your still not breaking any laws but feels like your on the absolute limit the whole time!
I really like the BMW carbon, it looks fantastic. Well, I would say that, as I’ve got the full carbon pack on mine!
As I did on mine mate, bit the pricing has escalated for the G series cars. Front splitter alone is £2,200! The gloss black parts have eroded the need for carbon to some degree, but limited outside of OEM unfortunately.
Love my little Z400 as well. It turns my daily commute into a riot. As a bonus, so far, quite cheap to run too
Yep, same as mine. I think the pack retails at around £9k, but BMW regularly run offers if you buy the whole pack.

Yep, the new car is around £7,500, but after so much on the M5 I’m having a break from carbon and this looks great out of the box.
I organized a man to measure up some metal railings for next week for a client, also i jumped on a Tamburini speacial after reading that thread, will it start after 17 years.
All this talk about 916's was frustrating me so i fired up mine today, i've no idea when the last time was....also the classic Land Rover for good measure.
Shopping for the weekend and packing stuff away in the folding camper, ready for Brands Hatch. I’m knackerred now Andy
