After so many years on the honda I think it will take him a good few races to adjust to the Ducati, he might gel with it he might flop. Only time will tell
If he can get a podium on the Honda its either nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is (which clearly isnt the case) or hes going to find life a hell of a lot easier on a year old Ducati.. If its the latter (which i believe to be the case) its a fairly easy prediction. What could possibly get in the way? He has taken the easy option though i'll admit (jumping ship to a championship winning bike). Desperate measures and all that...
It seems even winning is possible on the Honda. People have forgotten Rins on the LCR Honda this year..?
Hugely under rated rider imo and a real shame everything turned to shite for him as soon as Suzuki packed their bags
He wasnt available afaik? (and whatever we think of 93 aside most teams would pick an 8 time wc to ride for them if possible - especially for a free transfer!!!)
Even if he doesn’t win the title he’ll be wearing factory Ducati leathers in 2025. Never ever thought I’d see the day. Ducati are ruthless and hats off to them you have to take all the chances to pull the noose on your opponents when they come.
Oh, they will win again in ‘25. Let us be honest, once all the bikes are Ducati…nobody else can win! Hell of bike/package…but we need other makes to step up.
Is loads of Ducatis at the front of Motogp really any different to Moto 2 one make racing? At least Ducati are letting satellite teams race the factory team and beat them. I very much doubt Honda or Yamaha would allow it.
So Honda will seen Pedrosa get close to the podium a few weeks ago. how much money do you think they have offered him and Casey?
Is the Gresini bike/package good? As in good I mean can it challenge the factory red ones. Seriously, I’ve lost touch with MotoGP since Rossi, Marquez left/faded. But if MM gets a competitive package, I’ll start watching it again. I like a bit of fairing bashing and angry gesticulation
Not sure about Pedrosa, I would guess he has no real interest other than ‘wild card’ rides. Stoner retired due to ill health IIRC so he not in a position to ride competitively.
