  1. Looking at streetfighters on Auto trader today and up popped two Lamborghinis.
One a private seller, 5 miles on the clock £85000
The other was a trade seller,8 miles on the clock £99995.
I don't care how much money you may have,to spend that amount on a streetfighter you'd need your head examined.
Only my opinion but that is crazy money.

  2. I hope those sellers have a vast amount of patience to go with their huge sense of humour! AFAIK Ducati sell them for £55K which imo is also ludicrous.

  4. I wonder who owns Ducati (not). Just surprised that they don't come gold-plated all over to appeal to the knightsbridge oil-brats that might possibly be attracted to such polished turds.

  5. The sad thing is that these will sell.

  6. Give it time and perhaps these idiots will pay that for my 996 & 998.:D

  7. They're not even in Sheffield!

  8. Three lined up in Ducati Preston today, all sold.
I wonder if I'll ever see one on the road?

  9. You might be lucky!

  10. I really do not get these Lambo bikes. They are gash and crass at best which for me says much the same as anyone who's stupid enough to buy one.

    Money does not buy class!

  11. It's an interesting question .....
What is something rare actually "worth" ?

It's an old question , and as an example ..... What is an original Picasso "worth" ?

It's "worth" whatever somebody with cash in his pocket is willing to pay ....
.... on the precise day that it comes up for sale .
Nothing more and nothing less .

So I hope it puts that troubled question to bed , once and for all !

    :):D:joy:

  12. This is so true.
Greggs pizza slices have risen in price quite considerably over the last few months but I will still buy one because on that particular day I'm famished and to me it's worth it.
Other days it's the pound bakery.

  13. Ha !
The pound shop where almost everything now costs well over a pound ,
and it wasn't that long ago when you could get TWO small pasties for a quid !!

They used to have the best pizza slice anywhere ...... chicken and chorizo
.... so good that I would sometimes go into town just for that alone .

    Not anymore .....

  14. I'm embarrassed to admit that I visited a Greggs once. It was a cold wet afternoon, riding home from Devon, and we just needed hot food. After all the hype, I ordered a Greggs pizza slice, and a sausage roll. These were without doubt the two most grotesque things I've ever eaten in my life, and I still can't fathom why they are so popular.

  17. Not sure why people get so energised about overs. It’s down to supply and demand. If demand outstrips supply then products always climb above list prices. Always have always will. It’s called the market.

  18. I’ve had worse tbf (ginsters for eg).

I’m lucky I have a dorringtons bakers at the end of my road who do the goat sausage rolls so not my problem anymore

  19. I also tend to avoid eating greasy food of any description when I’m riding as it seems to rattle all kinds of heart burn triggers.

  20. Greggs is a flippin' mystery to me, as is Costa(lot), but for different reasons.
